Even though the snow here is too powdery to pack into a snowman you may have the right kind of snow for such a personified winter creature. If so, be warned. The thing may come to life.

Sorry for the delay. We were piled under snow again yesterday and I was unable to get to my computer (maybe). I hope this has not caused any trauma for our fans. Because of the delay we will release one bonus track on the final day.

The popularity of our Christmas album has been much greater than we ever expected. Who would have ever expected that we would have received such publicity. This will certainly help the sales of our album (and future albums).

As the weather forecast indicates, the next several days will not go above zero. The likelihood of a White Christmas is nearly 100%. The free download of the day is quite appropriate.

The entire realm of Nearly, Canada is under a Blizzard Warning and we have been advised not to travel. As law-abiding citizens, the leaders of our church decided to postpone church until next Sunday at the same time. Never fear though because the free download today includes the very best of CyberHymnal. So, whether you are stuck at home or on your way to church count yourself blessed to be able to sing along with the churchiest of songs.

It's that time of year again...the time to send out our earth-friendly Christmas card via the World Wide Web. Enjoy!
*note: the video is about 9 minutes long so... although it may be earth-friendly it may not be time-friendly...depending on your relation to the family.

My lovely wife gave me an I-Tunes gift card for Kwanzaa. I don't know what music to purchase. Any ideas? Please let me know what I should purchase and why. The winning commenter will have the satisfaction of knowing that, in a very small way, they have influenced my decision. Thanks.
Happy belated Boxing Day.

I am working on a lesson that I will be presenting tonight at a local campus ministry. The students are finishing their fall semester and will be traveling home next week. In light of the upcoming holiday I thought I would share some horrible Christmas gift ideas with these college students. I was amazed to find this amazing gift. It is a contraption to aid in back shaving. Here is a demonstration in case you didn't understand how to use the item.
“Makes a great & unique gift! …made from the same material as ski helmets. The Razorba was tirelessly developed to allow easy shaving of your back.”

My wife really enjoys Christmas music. Me...not so much. However, Sufjan Stevens recently released a 4-disc box set of Christmas music. It is interesting enough to keep my attention. There are some familiar tunes as well as a few originals. It is definitely worth the listen. It takes a special person to add a banjo to "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" and Sufjan is certainly special.

My name is Vince and I live in Colorado. When I drink coffee a brown ring forms on my bottom lip. A similar ring forms on the mug. It's worth the hassle. I love my wife more today than yesterday and our kids are growing on us. I am a church planter with Acts 29 and I am in the process of planting The Town Church.
