Back home
Greetings all. I am back in the US. Below is a short video from the beginning of our experience in Labone, Sudan. I don't know what to think yet. It was a life-chaning experience and I am still trying to process everything. We met some great new friends and had some unbelievable experiences. God was gracious and kind to us in our travels.

What's with all of those giant mushrooms on the ground as you flew in? And seriously, why were those kids pointing at you and laughing?
the giant mushrooms are the places these people call home after a life of civil war and living in refugee camps.
the kids are pointing at the only white man in the village and laughing because they see themselves in the viewfinder of my camera.
yeah ... i got the home part ...
but on the laughing part i was serious ... i noticed no facial hair in the crowd (but as i think about it i don't remember if there were men in the shot) and wondered if you were still sporting that beard and if that was a reaction to that.
God is amazing! We are grateful that he has answered the many prayers offered for this trip. The Green fam loved the video and anxiously await some good stories of God's work in and through you.
I want to see more.
