The long awaited moment
Well friends the time has come. It is a momentous occasion. It is something we as Americans will never forget. This is like sliced bread, the automobile, electricity, short pants and easy bake ovens. We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. I can't even describe the feelings we have as a family about this event. It's like the first man on the moon. Words cannot contain it!

Are you sure that's not a booger?
It kinda looks like South America.
it is not a booger and it is not south america. although i am certain that people in south america do have boogers. the image you see is in fact the last piece of connection to the placenta. the image is about actual size if you have an average computer monitor. so, if it is south america - south america is much smaller than i ever imagined. if it is a booger then i would hate to see the nostril from whence it came.
I am enjoying the photos of Asher. I like trying to figure out who he looks like. However, I must say the photo of his umbilical cord really doesn't provide much help in that area. Because it's part of Asher I'm thinking it's one of the cutest umbilical cords I've ever seen though. It actually looks a lot like Ezra's! I don't really remember what your's looked like.
mom, you must need new glasses. the cord obviously looks like asher. the cord doesn't look anything like ezra's. they are two different boys so obviously the cords are different.
oh, never mind
The fact that your mom comments on your blog is hilarious. I wish she was my mom. (Just kidding mom, if you ever read this).
